1988/1996 - All around the world
"Gianni Giansanti, who has accompanied Pope John Paul II on more than 40 trips abroad, decided to set out on a pil- grimage of his own. Over the past three years, he has fol- lowed the Catholic people, capturing the spirit of mystical, ecstatic worship at its height, such as in the week before Easter. Giansanti, like his subjects, was looking for miraculous. He found it, he says, in unexpected form: "The real miracle I witnessed is faith".
